In additional, 1.5 mln hectares at ASER approved the water protection zone as a no-go areas

A total of 1.5 million ha of riparian and floodplain areas of water bodies have been officially approved as water protection zones by Citizen’s Representative Meetings of Uvs province in regards to Water law on May 2019, as result of successive technical support and advocacy works by WWF Mongolia
